|Hinckley is a industrial city in the south west of the UK, positioned between Birmingham and Leicester. In the 19th century Hinckley expanded because of the introduction of large scale industies. The factories where mostly specialised in producing socks and stockings. About twenty years ago the production process became much cheaper in Asia, so the factories where closed in a fast paste. In a short time a succesfull industrial city became a village without a destination.
