| Industrial areas are little metropoles at itselve. With it's own population, infrastructure and space to live. But they have a scizofrenic caracter.
During the weekdays the areas are as busy as the city centre of New York, but in the Weekends the areas are abandoned. A surreal desertion is what's left.
Parttime Prairie shows this desertion in a series of photo's who connect seemless to each other. The horizontal lines of each photo overlap each other and make one complete urban landscape. But every separate photo also shows a urban landscape. A landscape where people are the main principal without being actually present.
